A Tribute

It’s Memorial Day, a day for remembering all of those who have courageously served our country.  Many lives have been lost in order to insure our precious freedoms in America.  This is a day to honor those who have served and those who have fallen.  Take a moment to say thank you, attend your local parades and celebrations.  Support our troops and pray for peace.

I wasn’t born an American I made the choice to become a naturalized citizen. I am grateful to all who have sacrificed to make America the home of the brave and the land of the free. My parents couldn’t have said more about their pride in tonier adopted country. They didn’t consider themselves a hyphen whatever– they were Americans! We have a right to feel this pride — a lot of blood was spilt for it. God bless America!

That was a beautiful tribute– thank you for sharing. Also I meant “their” adopted country. Auto spell can be a bother.

The reunions were a tearful, heartfelt tribute to those returning.. All were so beautifully compiled and I thank you for sharing.
