Simple Sundays

Thanksgiving has come and gone bringing some unexpected events for my family.  We celebrated Thursday with a house full of guests, enjoying a great feast and wonderful friendship.  The weather, crisp and cold, prevented my dream of a “French Country” venue, tables arranged on the banks of the lagoon on our property….way too cold for that!

Now, I’m sitting in our local hospital with my husband, waiting for him to be taken into surgery.  This has been a challenging health year for him.  I’m hoping we’re on the tail end of it all as 2013 draws to an end.

My dear friend, Nancy, sent this video to me with a note that it would make a great Sunday post.  I agree with her.  I love the music, uplifting and filled with spirit.  Enjoy the unexpected surprise that awaits this little girl and her gift of a coin to a street musician.

Wishing all of my readers a magical holiday season!

I pray that Mr. Lee is feeling better soon and what has been a year of health challenges for him end in a year of healing.

Again, a nice selection. This music was played during Cyn’s and my wedding 32 years ago last month. As it played I tried to image the days to come with my new bride. Needless to say my days have been more than I imaged that day 32 years ago.

I pray that as you listen to it today, it brings forth days of joy with Mr. Lee that eclipses any thoughts that you can image today. God Blesses and God heals.
